Day after Chemo ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!!!!

My Sweet Mom drove me to get my next day booster shot.  Saw my friend Alex, he works for UCSD!!!  I am SO BLESSED to have so many ANGELS around me.

Here is a recipe for fermented garlic (black garlic) considered to be one of the newest homeopathic remedies.

SO SORRY FOR MY ABSENSE!!!

My new look in the car wearing a scarf from my dear friend Ann.
  Showing off my thinner body!

Out with a friend for my first sushi after chemo.

Rocking the blonde chemo wig and hanging with my BFF Debbie.
My babies and biggest fans and supporters during this time (since they were by my side literally this entire time).

My favorite person in the entire world, ANDREW, the best son a mother could ever dream of having!!!

Good Morning All,
I have included some photos.  I am now entering the next phase of my journey. Radiation.  As I was informed by my physician,  since I rocked chemo this should be a breeze.  Everything that you do has benefits and side effects.  Obviously, I am grateful to modern medicine for all it has done for me.  Often people are very vocal about things they have no knowledge of or experience.
For me, this journey has been an education as well as a second lease on life.  I know now that I really must count to 10 before shooting my mouth off.
Yours,
PINK WARRIOR GODDESS

About my absence

Please accept my apologizes for having been absent.  Finding out that when nearing the end of chemo, you may feel a bit tired or even depressed due to relief and realization that what you have been thru is really tough and scarey.  Even for the PWGs.

Please Ladies (and gentlemen) think about what you put into your mouth and body!!!!

As a girl who used tanning beds, was bulimic, partied in my 20s and definitely did not take good enough care of myself, I beg you to take this advice seriously!!!!!

Much love,
YOUR PWG JILL

Does Drinking Increase Your Risk?

A study has found that women who drink three to six alcoholic beverages a week have an increased risk for developing breast cancer. Dr. Holly Phillips suggests that women moderate their alcohol intake, and to take care of themselves in other ways like eating right and exercising in order to keep yourself healthy.

Today's message Blessings

Good Morning all PWG followers.  Today I am meeting one of my PWG Sisters to take a walk with our dogs.  During Chemo, we are not allowed to exercise, other than walking.  Dogs are such a blessing on so many levels.

First, they offer unconditional love while they allow us to be adopted or selected by them.  Next, they give us a reason to get out of bed, even when we do not feel like it.  Most importantly, they are extremely sensitive to us.  My beautiful Mischou (the maltipoo) used to lay with her head between my breasts and cuddle. Last December, she started to gently place her head on my right breast.  That was where they removed my cancer.  I would be remiss if I did not mention that my adorable Chewy (the yorkie) follows me everywhere in the house with a puppy smile eager to please.

Today, I am grateful to my legged children for all the love they offer me.  For all of you with smart phones there is a free pedometer app called NOOM.  It does not require data usage to work.  2000 footsteps equal one mile.

Had to share. LOVE THE MESSAGE AND THE BLING!!!

Monday's Update!!!!

Well all PGW followers.  Really enjoying the concept of sharing new experiences. Gave the puppies a bath so the will be clean this week before my chemo on Wednesday.  Having dinner with friends the next couple of evenings.  Time with mom tomorrow and stripping bed so when I come home everything will be fresh.

Article for all the warriors going through chemo.  Please read to protect your partner.  Found that most of my sister warriors did not receive this information from their Drs.
